What you will do

• Lead the migration of a legacy monolith into a modern React/Next.js architecture.
• Define and maintain project specifications to guide AI-driven development workflows.
• Act as a strategic gatekeeper for AI-generated code to ensure enterprise-grade quality.
• Design scalable, modular frontend systems integrated with AWS infrastructure.
• Mentor mid-level engineers in advanced React patterns and spec-first methodologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and Next.js.
• Expertise in AI Spec-Driven Development and structured AI workflows.
• Proven track record of migrating large legacy monoliths to component-driven architectures.
• Strong systems thinking and architectural mindset.
• Must be based in or able to work from Almere, Netherlands.
• English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying containerized or serverless applications on AWS.
• Knowledge of microfrontend architectures (Webpack Module Federation, single-spa).
• Familiarity with React Native for cross-platform development.
