TL;DR

Strategic Account Manager (LegalTech): Managing and scaling relationships with high-value global legal clients with an accent on adoption, expansion, and commercial negotiation. Focus on driving platform value for 7-8 figure ARR accounts and leading a dedicated team in an in-office environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Chicago/New York (5 days per week)

Salary: $382.5K – $450K

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end relationship for strategic, global accounts with 7-8 figure ARR potential.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, renewals, and expansion strategies for a portfolio of high-stakes clients.
  • Manage and mentor a small team dedicated to strategic North American accounts.
  • Drive platform adoption through structured enablement, value-based success planning, and executive engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to shape the product roadmap based on client needs.
  • Oversee seamless onboarding and implementation for complex, multinational legal organizations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Management Consulting.
  • Proven track record managing complex accounts worth >$2M ARR.
  • Direct management experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience in legal tech, law firms, or highly regulated professional services.
  • Must be comfortable working on-site 5 days per week in the office.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders at large organizations.
