TL;DR
Project Manager (Fintech): Leading complex, cross-functional technical projects within a matrix environment using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Focus on project governance, stakeholder collaboration, and coaching teams to improve Agile effectiveness while ensuring delivery of high-impact business solutions.
Location: Must be based in Canada with valid work authorization. This is a hybrid role based in Toronto (moving to Mississauga in late 2026).
Salary: $105,000 – $164,000 CAD

What you will do
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Manage day-to-day project activities, identifying risks and resolving issues to ensure successful delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, clarifying roles and providing direction.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration and act as the central point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coach teams on Agile methodologies and drive continuous improvement in project effectiveness.
- Report project status, KPIs, and value generation to senior management and executive sponsors.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project/Program Management or Scrum Master capacity.
- Current work authorization for Canada is required.
- Extensive experience leading business and systems delivery teams using Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
- Strong coaching, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- University degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) certifications.
