Human Resources Manager: Providing strategic HR advice and counsel to senior management and departments within the Provost and VP Academic and VP Research and Innovation portfolios. Location: Must be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada (Onsite at Vancouver Campus).
Salary: $7,851.50 - $12,243.25 CAD Monthly

What you will do
- Consult with and coach unit leaders on human resources management, organizational structure, and change management.
- Interpret and provide advice regarding collective agreements, university policies, and government legislation.
- Resolve case issues, grievances, and disputes through research, documentation, and negotiation.
- Collaborate with Workplace Health Services to develop return-to-work and accommodation action plans.
- Advise on career development, recruitment, succession planning, and performance management using a coaching approach.
- Support senior appointment processes for Deans and other executive-level roles.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of five to seven years of related HR experience.
- Must be able to travel to on and off-site unit locations in Vancouver.
- Thorough knowledge of current HR management practices and provincial/federal employment legislation.
- Experience in administration of collective agreements and labour relations in a complex unionized environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
