What you will do

• Perform price verification for fixed income securities and OTC derivatives including interest rate swaps and FX options.
• Develop valuation frameworks for new funds and alternative products in collaboration with IT, Legal, and Portfolio Management teams.
• Interact with independent fund administrators to resolve daily valuation questions and provide fair valuation recommendations.
• Prepare management reports and key valuation metrics for business leadership and fund boards.
• Coordinate annual vendor due diligence processes with third-party pricing providers and brokers.
• Review and update the internal Valuation Policy on an annual basis.

Requirements

• Must be based in Salt Lake City, UT
• 2-5 years of experience in financial markets or the investment management industry.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AI tools such as Copilot.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional interaction.
• Willingness to develop deep expertise in complex valuation methods for diverse security types.

Nice to have

• Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• CFA or CPA designation (or progress towards these).
