AI Enablement Engineer (AI): Building and productionising AI enablement tools for by bridging raw data systems and user-facing requirements with an accent on RAG pipelines, LLM integration, and secure cloud-based automation. Focus on designing secure GCP environments, translating business workflows into technical specs and working code, and ensuring scalable, production-grade handover for internal AI ecosystems.
Location: Hybrid — 3 days/week in the Hammersmith London office
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 yearly

What you will do
- Own the application lifecycle for custom web applications, software agents, and automated technical workflows built with Python.
- Design and build RAG pipeline architectures and integrate LLM environments (including Vertex AI) with internal databases.
- Maintain secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) sandbox environments, managing IAM permissions with least-privilege access.
- Ensure AI deployments are secure, cost-monitored, and aligned with cybersecurity and data compliance policies.
- Turn early-stage ideas into production-grade architectures and deliver clean technical handover with organized repositories, API schemas, and documentation.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of hands-on software development with strong emphasis on clean, production-grade Python.
- Experience building and deploying web applications and configuring APIs in public cloud infrastructure, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on knowledge of Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
- Strong understanding of modern LLM frameworks, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, BigQuery Vector Search), and RAG pipeline architectures.
- Ability to translate manual workflows and non-technical business needs into structured technical requirements and working code.
- Strong security and data privacy mindset, including cost guardrails in a fast-paced environment.
