Senior Electrical Lead

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid work arrangement with domestic and possible international travel to jobsites and supplier factories.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for the electrical discipline on major EPC projects.
• Direct and develop assigned electrical engineering and design personnel.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, procedures, and project quality expectations.
• Manage discipline staffing, budgets, and execution performance.
• Interface with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders to support successful delivery.
• Conduct performance management and assist with interviewing, hiring, and personnel assignments.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of related experience; typical experience is 20 or more years.
• PE or P.Eng. registration required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability for domestic and possible international travel to jobsites and supplier factories.

Nice to have

• SmartPlant Electrical experience.
• Experience with electrical power system studies using ETAP and SKM Power*Tools.
• Experience leading projects with home-office electrical budgets of 100,000 or more hours.
