What you will do

• Manage heat treat processes including direct hardening, tempering, and stress relief.
• Ensure safety through standard work, safe job procedures, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain quality standards via control plans, PFMEAs, and process audits.
• Analyze OEE and capacity to maximize equipment performance and uptime.
• Collaborate with operations, quality teams, and 3rd party maintenance suppliers.
• Oversee new product introduction and PPAP documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days a week in East Peoria, IL.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Extensive knowledge of manufacturing support and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in creating standard work, control plans, and PFMEAs.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of manufacturing support experience.
• Ferrous metallurgy expertise.
• Experience with SAP software and hirify.global part prints.
• Knowledge of heat treat process controls (atmosphere, quench media, etc.).
