What you will do

• Participate in the full software development life cycle from development through customer delivery.
• Implement cross-platform software and services across embedded CPUs, SOCs, Ethernet PHYs, FPGAs, and optical components.
• Apply Linux kernel, TCP/IP stack, forwarding tables, IP filters, VLANs, and memory management concepts.
• Design and develop drivers, diagnostics, and applications using C, C++, and Python.
• Debug and resolve system defects, throughput, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and verification teams to support large-scale software releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux kernel drivers and user space drivers.
• Application of Embedded C and C++ programming languages.
• Utilization of Yocto containers, Docker, and related tools.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and concepts.

Nice to have

• Exposure to real-time operating systems concepts.
• Exposure to software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Exposure to optical networking concepts including DWDM, OTN, Ethernet, OSI Model, and PMs.
