Quality Control Associate

TL;DR

What you will do

• Promote a positive safety culture and adhere to HSE programs.
• Interpret and apply regulatory requirements (GACP, GPP, GMP) and act as an ambassador for compliance.
• Develop and maintain direct-input and finished product specifications to ensure EU/USP compliance.
• Manage cannabis sample sampling, submission, and lab tracking for release, including lab result TAT conformance.
• Investigate OOS and NCR items, prepare reports, and support risk assessments and disposition decisions.
• Maintain site-level quality systems for sampling, approved materials lists, specifications/CoA-CoM, ERP inspection plan, and environmental monitoring (air, surface, water).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance.
• Canadian (or assessed equivalent) B.Sc. in a relevant science discipline (e.g., chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, chemical engineering, horticulture, medical laboratory science).
• Functional understanding of HPLC, GC-MS, ICP-MS, spectroscopy, and plant sciences (asset).
• Knowledge of quality assurance programs such as GMP, HACCP, and ISO.
• Strong team facilitation/leadership and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
