What you will do

• Establish team priorities for research and development of data collection prototypes and big-data analytic pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align roadmaps and facilitate technology transfer of research into production.
• Decompose long-term strategic business challenges into actionable technical research plans.
• Recruit, train, and develop an international team of security researchers.
• Articulate research findings to stakeholders and provide quantitative recommendations on investments.
• Identify and maintain data partnership opportunities through scouting and assessment of third-party data sources.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong technical background with expertise in networking and information security.
• Proven track record in security data analysis, statistical experimentation, and rapid prototyping.
• Experience leading research initiatives and teams.
• Proficiency in standard scripting languages.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to solve ambiguous problems.
