What you will do

• Create and curate content across linear, digital, and streaming platforms aligned with brand identity.
• Write engaging headlines and manage homepage and social media programming.
• Collaborate with show producers on video editorial content.
• Distribute content to partner platforms including Apple News and SmartNews.
• Assist in video production and editing for owned and social channels.
• Monitor analytics to inform programming decisions and perform A/B testing on story packaging.

Requirements

• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work in Washington, D.C. or New York, NY.
• Must be available to work a weekend shift (Wed-Sun or Fri-Tues).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of production or editorial experience.
• Thorough knowledge of current events, U.S. politics, and geopolitics.

• Proven ability to edit video for social platforms.
