Salary: $93,000 - $110,000 yearly

What you will do

• Research, write, and produce strong editorial copy for live segments.
• Identify the strongest elements and write sharp questions for on-air talent.
• Pitch timely and compelling story ideas for daily and future segments.
• Manage multiple stories simultaneously in a fast-paced, breaking news environment.
• Perform quality checks on all video content.
• Coordinate daily news developments with senior producers and the Executive Producer.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in broadcast, streaming, or cable news, preferably in live daily shows.
• Must be willing to work in New York, New York.
• Excellent writing skills and thorough knowledge of current events.
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to thrive in a high-pressure control room environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with 4 days per week in the office.
