• Assist producers with video and graphics editing for show segments.
• Clear video for air in coordination with social newsgathering and rights teams.
• Edit show opens and news tells under tight daily deadlines.
• Research and fact-check stories to ensure accuracy and speed.
• Pitch engaging story ideas for daily and future segments.
• Monitor show rundowns to ensure all visual elements are current and accurate.

Requirements

• Must be willing to work in New York, New York.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in broadcast, digital, or cable media.
• Proficiency in video editing using Premiere or Avid.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to work a 12p-8p or 2p-10p schedule, including short-notice availability.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive under intense deadlines.
