Salary: $95,000 – $140,000

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders to develop and execute strategic communications plans.
• Secure high-impact media coverage and foster relationships with key reporters.
• Manage and create profiles for key agents and executives.
• Handle time-sensitive news stories and prepare spokespeople for interviews.
• Write and edit high-quality communications materials.
• Provide direction and feedback to junior staff and assistants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-7 years of experience in communications, specifically including media relations.
• Experience in corporate and internal communications.
• Excellent verbal and writing/editing skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Must be able to work from the Los Angeles office.
