Billing Data Analyst

TL;DR

Billing Data Analyst (SQL/BI): Analyze billing and support performance, build data pipelines, and apply statistical methods to forecasting, scenario modeling, and risk reduction with an accent on A/B testing and cross-functional decision support. Focus on translating billing and marketing/product changes into actionable insights that improve billing efficiency, reduce disputes, churn, and operational inefficiencies.

What you will do

• Monitor, analyze, and report on billing and support KPIs and emerging trends.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for accurate, timely, reliable data delivery.
• Use statistical methods for scenario planning, “what-if” analysis, and financial risk anticipation.
• Run A/B tests and experiments to evaluate billing and support strategies.
• Collaborate with Billing, Support, Finance, Product, and Marketing to align processes with risk-mitigation goals.
• Provide recommendations and document analyses, workflows, and data logic.

Requirements

• Experience as a Data Analyst, ideally in fintech, subscription products, billing, or customer support.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar.
• Experience with Python or R.
• Solid statistical analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling skills; experience interpreting A/B test results.
• Location/time zone requirement: be located within approximately ± 4 hours of CET.

Nice to have

• Experience with BigQuery or ClickHouse (or other cloud data warehouses).
• Basic Python knowledge for data cleaning or simple analysis.
• Exposure to subscription businesses or payment systems; understanding of disputes, chargebacks, declines, or fraud signals.
• Familiarity with dbt or data quality frameworks.
