Supply Planner

Supply Planner (Supply Chain): Coordinating and optimizing inventory planning and procurement cost across the supply chain network with an accent on balancing inventory targets, customer service levels, forecast accuracy, and safety stock. Focus on using MRP and exception reporting to prevent shortages/excess inventory, ensuring purchase order data accuracy, and resolving supply issues to meet demand and regional performance objectives.

What you will do

• Balance inventory targets, customer service levels, forecast accuracy, and safety stock for an allocated SKU portfolio.
• Act as a key liaison to resolve supply issues and support efficient delivery of inventory, service, and cost objectives.
• Improve supply planning processes by applying current tools and proactively reviewing inventory projections and supply-demand summaries.
• Ensure purchase order data accuracy to support Sales, Operations & Transportation teams.
• Monitor inventory levels, recommend inventory parameter adjustments, and mitigate out-of-stock/shortage situations using exception reports.
• Conduct ad-hoc business and performance reviews with key suppliers and track/reconcile weekly and monthly metrics vs. targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, supply chain/operations, finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong Excel skills with experience in data manipulation (graphs, pivots, vlookups, etc.).
• Very strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Commitment to process improvement and ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of integrated planning software (highly desirable).
• SAP experience (preferred).
