What you will do

• Write high-quality backend code and solve the most complex technical challenges.
• Guide the technical direction of the team using Scala, Python, and TypeScript.
• Integrate and advocate for AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to multiply engineering output.
• Own the entire lifecycle of features designed for multi-tenant cloud scalability.
• Mentor 3-4 engineers through pair programming, deep code reviews, and technical guidance.
• Partner with Product Managers to refine features and translate ambitious ideas into technical tasks.

Requirements

• Deep backend engineering experience building and scaling cloud-native SaaS platforms.
• Production-proven experience writing code in Scala.
• Deep experience using AI coding agents in daily workflow (Must-Have).
• Exceptional English skills (C1+).
• Must be based in Europe.
• High-agency leadership and a builder mindset.

Nice to have

• Production experience with Python or TypeScript.
