What you will do

• Lead insight strategy by turning complex data and psychological science into actionable insights for products and partners.
• Own the end-to-end research pipeline, from literature review to designing data architecture and measurement models.
• Commercialize research findings by integrating them into product features, reporting frameworks, and go-to-market tools.
• Consult with major client organizations to apply behavioral science to improve decision-making and employee performance.
• Act as the strategic voice between research, product, and go-to-market teams to shape how the organization applies insights.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent depth in industrial-organizational psychology, behavioral/decision science, labor economics, or a related field.
• Proven track record of applied research that directly changed a product, business decision, or outcome.
• Strong quantitative skills in survey/instrument design, psychometrics, and causal or quasi-experimental methods.
• Ability to communicate rigorous scientific work effectively to senior stakeholders such as CHROs or CFOs.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Domain expertise in compensation, total rewards, or pay equity.
• Established public research voice or published thought leadership.
• Experience working in a startup, applied research lab, or research-to-product environment.
• Working fluency with data tools such as SQL, Python, or R.

Hiring process

• Initial 30-minute interview with the Talent Team.
• 45-minute Zoom interview with the Hiring Manager.
• Series of video interviews with several team members (approximately 2.5 hours).
