AI Engineering Intern (LLM)

Location: Must be local to North Reading, MA; no relocation or visa sponsorship provided

Salary: $25.50–$47.00 per hour

What you will do

• Design and implement autonomous AI agent systems for intelligent decision-making and adaptive reasoning.
• Develop and fine-tune LLMs tailored for engineering domain applications.
• Create synthetic data generation, preparation, and model evaluation pipelines.
• Integrate AI agent workflows with instrumentation and software platforms.
• Prototype and validate AI-enabled solutions in collaboration with software teams.
• Document experiments and model behavior for reproducibility.

Requirements

• Pursuing or obtained a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Demonstrated ability to build end-to-end AI or software systems.
• Must be local to North Reading, MA
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship

Nice to have

• Experience with agent-based systems and structured decision logic.
• Familiarity with AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain or AutoGen.
• Exposure to hardware instrumentation or test and measurement concepts.
