Front-End React/Next.js Developer

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; hybrid setup with a balance between working at the office and working from home. Candidates must live in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Develop and implement performant, user-friendly applications with React and Next.js.
• Review requirements and interface designs, identifying web-based user interactions and creative solutions with UX Designers.
• Contribute to APIs, back-end logic, and server-side functionality using Node or C# when needed.
• Make technical decisions about architecture, tools, and processes from a full-stack perspective.
• Collaborate with developers and colleagues from varied backgrounds and nationalities.
• Use GitHub, write automated tests, and work in a continuous integration and deployment environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Front-End React/Next.js Developer.
• A BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with TypeScript and in-depth knowledge of TypeScript and React/Next.js concepts.
• Experience with modern JavaScript ES2017+, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
• Experience with a back-end runtime environment such as Node or C#/.NET.
• Experience working with Scrum or Agile.
• Fluent English.
• Living in the Netherlands.
