Finance & Accounting Specialist (SaaS)

Location: Remote (Global). Must be able to work 4 core hours within European time (9am-6pm).

What you will do

• Manage daily treasury activities, cash positions, and the invoicing process.
• Oversee accounts receivable and support collection activities.
• Execute the monthly closing process and support external audits.
• Manage and monitor national and international funding projects, such as PT2030 and SIFIDE.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement automation of financial processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of professional experience in similar roles.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Availability to overlap with 4 core hours of European business time (9am-6pm).

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS or technology startups.
• Proficiency with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Experience managing public funding and incentive programs (PT2020/PT2030, SIFIDE).
• Experience working in international environments with English financial reporting.
