Senior Product Designer (Inbox) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Paris or London

Salary: 59,000 - 91,000 EUR gross annually (Paris)

What you will do

• Own the visual and interaction quality of Proton products from early concepts through production.
• Design intuitive interfaces that make sophisticated privacy and security features feel trustworthy.
• Craft and scale visual systems including typography, hierarchy, spacing, and iconography.
• Develop meaningful motion, transitions, and micro-interactions as integral parts of the UI.
• Create icons, illustrations, and visual assets that strengthen the Proton visual language.
• Partner with PMs and engineers to shape solutions early and maintain high quality during implementation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping digital products.
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft in typography, layout, and motion.
• Proven ability to simplify genuinely complex problems into obvious interfaces.
• Experience building and evolving design systems.
• High proficiency in Figma for exploration, high-fidelity design, and prototyping.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Paris or London

Nice to have

• Background in visual communication, graphic design, or illustration.
• Portfolio showcasing visual identity work or iconography.
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS practical constraints.
