Accountant (Environmental Services)

What you will do

• Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts.
• Prepare financial statements, related workpapers, and detailed financial reports.
• Handle vendor and customer relationships, including statement reconciliation.
• Assist with software implementation, system upgrades, and identifying automation opportunities.
• Process journal entries and allocations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration preferred.
• Two-year technical degree plus 3 years of experience, or 5 years of accounting department experience.
• Proficiency with advanced accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAGE 300 ERP, Deltek Vantagepoint).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, specifically Excel.
• Experience with expense management tools (e.g., SAP Concur) and document management software (e.g., Revver).
• Ability to work full-time from the Charleston, SC office.
