What you will do

• Architect, design, and manage the development of innovative Layer1 features.
• Develop and maintain software using C, C++, and Python, including the creation of automated test infrastructure.
• Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams to bring new components like Phys and Transceivers to market.
• Build instrumentation and telemetry tools to track and monitor physical link health parameters.
• Provide technical leadership across projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems in customer networks in collaboration with support engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in CS, EE, or CE (BS + 6 years, MS + 4 years, or PhD + 3 years of experience).
• Expert proficiency in C or C++ and Python.
• Experience working with low-level hardware components and UNIX/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of digital communication technologies, including modulation and signal encoding schemes.
• Strong software engineering principles and problem-solving skills.
• Location: Must be based in Nashua, NH, USA
