Junior Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Hybrid/Remote (hiring in multiple countries)

What you will do

• Develop, refactor, and innovate code for a high-load marketing platform.
• Build new products and distributed systems using streaming, queuing, and database solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate user stories into technical features and tasks.
• Migrate legacy applications to a cloud-first architecture on AWS.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including code reviews and planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer-critical issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Basic experience with OOP (ideally Java or Node.js), RESTful APIs, and Microservices.
• Understanding of relational databases, event-driven architecture, and web technologies.
• Experience or strong interest in AWS services (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB) and Docker.
• Knowledge of Git and Agile processes.
• Exposure to TDD or BDD practices.
• English: Fluent (C1) proficiency required
