Salary: 140 - 170 PLN / hour (B2B)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and support Java-based microservices and integration components.
• Implement event-driven architectures to connect internal security systems with banking infrastructure.
• Analyze business requirements, document dependencies, and troubleshoot complex production issues.
• Mentor junior colleagues and promote best development practices within the team.
• Collaborate in a Scrum environment to refine requirements and prepare technical test cases.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years (Senior) or 10+ years (Expert) of Java backend development in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Integration.
• Experience with REST services, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of messaging platforms, preferably IBM MQ and Kafka.
• Strong SQL and relational database skills, preferably with Oracle.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
• Ability to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days a week in the office) in Gdańsk or Warsaw.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, trading, custody, or settlement domains.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-ready application design.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems or vendor platforms.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools and static code analysis.
