Senior Data Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Data Analyst (SQL/Fintech): Designing and maintaining ETL flows and validating large data sets for regulatory reporting in the banking sector with an accent on data quality, traceability, and financial instrument analysis. Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in office) in Warsaw or Łódź, Poland

Salary: 110 - 130 PLN per hour

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, harmonize, and validate large data sets across multiple source systems.
• Design, document, and maintain data structures, data mappings, and ETL flows.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and traceability to support regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements for formal sign-off.
• Analyze financial and accounting data, including balance sheet structures and financial instruments.
• Utilize AI tools to improve efficiency and identify opportunities for process automation.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in data analysis.
• Professional proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.).
• Ability to define and document data structures and ETL flows across applications.
• Good knowledge of accounting and balance sheet structures, including financial instruments.
• Experience in documenting metadata to meet regulatory obligations.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Warsaw or Łódź, Poland.

Nice to have

• Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and quality expectations (e.g., CRR, BCBS239).
• Track record in creating reporting IT solutions using BI Tools and calculation engines.
