Position: Senior Systems Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to participate in the design, development, documentation, and implementation of complex software and automated information systems.

- Required Experience and Qualifications
* At least five years of hands-on software development experience.
* Experience working as a Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, Software Engineer, or in a similar technical role.
* Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and system integration principles.
* Practical knowledge of the following technologies:
* PostgreSQL;
* MySQL;
* Redis;
* RabbitMQ;
* AWS EC2 and related AWS infrastructure services.
* Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, data models, database schemas, and complex queries.
* Experience designing REST APIs and integrations between internal systems, external services, and third-party providers.
* Experience preparing technical documentation for complex software and automated information systems.
* Knowledge of international systems and software engineering documentation standards, including:
* ISO/IEC/IEEE 29148 — Requirements Engineering;
* ISO/IEC/IEEE 15289 — Life-Cycle Information and Documentation;
* ISO/IEC/IEEE 42010 — Architecture Description;
* ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207 — Software Life-Cycle Processes.
* Experience developing the following types of documentation:
* Business Requirements Specifications;
* System Requirements Specifications;
* Software Requirements Specifications;
* Functional Specifications;
* Technical Specifications;
* System Architecture Documents;
* Interface and Integration Specifications;
* API Documentation;
* Data Models and Database Specifications;
* Use Cases and User Stories;
* System Operation and Support Documentation.
* Ability to collect, analyse, formalise, structure, and document business and technical requirements.
* Ability to transform business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.
* Experience decomposing complex requirements into development tasks.
* Ability to prepare clear and detailed assignments for software developers.
* Experience working directly with developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, product managers, business representatives, and external partners.
* Good command of written and spoken English, including the ability to prepare professional technical documentation in English.

- Key Responsibilities
* Collect, analyse, clarify, and formalise business and technical requirements.
* Develop and maintain requirements for software products and automated information systems.
* Prepare system requirements, software requirements, functional specifications, and technical specifications.
* Translate business needs into clear and implementable technical solutions.
* Create detailed development tasks with acceptance criteria, business rules, validation rules, and expected system behaviour.
* Decompose large features and business requirements into manageable development tasks.
* Assign and explain tasks to software developers.
* Support developers throughout the implementation process and clarify requirements when necessary.
* Design system components, services, APIs, data flows, and integration processes.
* Describe request and response formats, data structures, validation rules, error-handling logic, and processing algorithms.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation in accordance with applicable ISO/IEC/IEEE standards and the company’s internal documentation standards.
* Develop system architecture descriptions, integration diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and process models.
* Document automated information systems throughout their complete life cycle.
* Participate in architectural and technical solution discussions.
* Review implemented functionality and verify its compliance with approved requirements.
* Support QA engineers in preparing test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
* Participate in functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
* Analyse change requests and assess their impact on existing systems, integrations, databases, and business processes.
* Keep system documentation accurate and up to date following software changes and releases.

- Required Modelling and Documentation Skills
The successful candidate should be able to work with:
* UML;
* BPMN;
* Sequence diagrams;
* Activity diagrams;
* State diagrams;
* Component diagrams;
* Deployment diagrams;
* Entity-relationship diagrams;
* Data-flow diagrams;
* Flowcharts;
* API specifications using OpenAPI or Swagger;
* User stories and acceptance criteria;
* Functional and non-functional requirements;
* Traceability matrices.

- Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in FinTech, payment processing, banking, acquiring, or card payment systems.
* Knowledge of payment industry standards such as ISO 8583, ISO 20022, EMV, PCI DSS, or EMV 3-D Secure.
* Experience working with high-load, highly available, and distributed systems.
* Understanding of information security, data protection, audit, logging, monitoring, and access-control requirements.
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
* Knowledge of Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, C++, or another modern programming language.
* Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
* Experience participating in the complete software development life cycle, from initial requirements analysis to production release and operational support.
