What you will do

• Lead and grow the Fulfillment Pod through hiring, mentoring, and setting technical standards.
• Own the architecture and delivery of core order management and label generation systems.
• Balance hands-on coding with technical leadership to ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Partner with Product and Design teams to turn the roadmap into shipped, scalable features.
• Drive the integration of AI into workflows to automate operational tasks.
• Facilitate team rituals including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in software engineering with a background in leadership or mentoring.
• Strong proficiency in backend systems using PHP, NodeJS, or Python.
• Solid understanding of system design, clean architecture, and scaling trade-offs.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage fast-changing priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure (ECS, Lambda) and Docker.
• Experience working with AI tools like OpenAI or Anthropic.
