What you will do

• Own QA processes for micro-display software, firmware, and associated tools.
• Develop and implement test plans and automated test code prior to production releases.
• Collaborate with developers to understand system-level code and firmware flows.
• Work closely with the EE team to configure and maintain test environments.
• Document user interfaces for tools and manage bug tracking via Jira.
• Contribute to code reviews for software, firmware, and testing tools.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in software or firmware development.
• Strong proficiency in Python, C/C++, and C#.
• System-level understanding of boards, chips, and communication interfaces (USB, I2C/I3C, SPI, UART, MIPI, SWD, PCIE).
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor or Copilot.
• Must be able to work onsite 4+ days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with small microcontrollers such as ARM or Risc V.
• Firmware coding experience in C/C++ based on RTOS or non-RTOS systems.
• Knowledge of micro-display systems and video standards (HDMI, DisplayPort).
• Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
