What you will do

• Perform hardware failure analysis for returned products and field failures using structured problem-solving methods.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities to reduce repeat failures and improve product reliability.
• Support sustaining engineering changes, including component evaluation, design updates, and obsolescence management.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, repair, and quality teams to optimize diagnostics and repair processes.
• Provide technical guidance for customer escalations, including failure trend analysis and containment planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in hardware, sustaining, or reliability engineering.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, board-level diagnostics, and component-level investigation.
• Knowledge of quality methods such as 8D, 5-Why, FRACAS, or similar root cause analysis approaches.
• Working knowledge of schematic review, PCB design concepts, and bill of materials (BOM) management.
• Must be local to the position location; this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
