Equipment Engineering Technician

TL;DR

Equipment Engineering Technician (Semiconductor): Support production through daily monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment including sawing machines, testers, and automated systems with an accent on dicing saws, AVI machines, and encapsulation equipment. Location: Cabuyao, Philippines (onsite, rotating shifts including weekends and holidays)

What you will do

• Perform daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and repair of sawing machines, electrical testers, AVI machines, Dambar cutting/soldering machines, encapsulation machines, and pneumatic equipment.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks according to schedule.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment issues.
• Collaborate with equipment engineers to enhance reliability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, 5S standards, and document all activities accurately.

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
• 1–5 years experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Experience operating and maintaining dicing saw machines (e.g., DISCO, ADT), tool maintenance, troubleshooting, and PMs.
• Familiarity with wafer tape mounting/detaping, blade selection, sawing parameters, and handling silicon, GaAs, SiC wafers.
• Operating vision systems for defect detection; willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays; physically able for 8-12 hour shifts.

• Registered Master Electrician.
