What you will do

• Perform first-level analysis on real-world vehicle run data.
• Partner with Detective and Triage Engineers to identify root causes of issues.
• Manage the full issue lifecycle including identification, investigation, and documentation.
• Add metadata to on-road interventions and validate triage automation bots.
• Deliver actionable feedback on internal tooling to enhance speed and usability.
• Participate in standups to prioritize emerging concerns and process changes.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the office in Tokyo, Japan.
• Previous experience in ADAS, Autonomous Vehicles, or testing environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and bias-free problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn and use a variety of internal tools and software platforms.
• Strong debugging, documentation, and investigation skills.
• Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis for log review.
• Basic experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
• Familiarity with software development concepts like source control and build pipelines.
• Experience with issue tracking tools such as Jira or Confluence.
• Exposure to robotics systems or AV testing practices.
