What you will do

• Build technical relationships with customers as a trusted advisor for GenAI/ML and Agentic technology adoption.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud-native AI architectures for complex enterprise use cases.
• Advocate for customer needs internally to influence the AWS GenAI/ML product roadmap.
• Create and share technical content including whitepapers, blog posts, code samples, and workshops.
• Lead technical deep dives and mentor the broader engineering organization on AI best practices.
• Manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and customers to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for distributed applications.
• 5+ years of experience in the design and implementation of production AI systems.
• 4+ years of experience managing technical, enterprise customer-facing resources.
• Proven expertise in LLM integration, fine-tuning, RAG, Vector DBs, and MLOps.
• Strong ability to influence decision-makers and act as a technical thought leader.
• Must be based in or able to work from Tokyo, Japan.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, and SageMaker.
• Cloud Technology Certification (Solutions Architecture, Security, or DevOps).
• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Machine Learning.
• Experience with advanced fine-tuning techniques like LoRA, QLoRA, and RLHF.
