What you will do

• Evaluate, settle, or deny complex household and non-household goods claims using elevated decision-making authority.
• Lead activities related to major losses, including detailed reporting and cross-departmental updates.
• Partner with the Legal department to manage specialty or escalated claims.
• Review claims for compliance with federal regulations, tariffs, and internal policies.
• Investigate facts and documentation to allocate liability appropriately.
• Communicate extensively with agents, military installations, government bureaus, and internal departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis (no visa sponsorship).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to navigate challenging conversations.
• Professionalism in managing conflict and balancing empathy with policy.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience in a claims adjusting role.
• Proven experience in reviewing documentation, determining liability, and negotiating outcomes.
