What you will do

• Act as the System Owner for electrical distribution, including substations, MCC, generators, and UPS.
• Conduct troubleshooting, breaker coordination, and arc flash studies to ensure system reliability.
• Review and approve electrical designs, cost estimates, and ROI analyses for manufacturing projects.
• Maintain electrical documentation, including master CAD drawings and O&M manuals.
• Utilize statistical process control and Design of Experiments to enhance system performance.
• Coordinate with external consultants and project engineers to oversee electrical project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of medium and high voltage power systems, load flow analysis, and short circuit calculations.
• Proven ability to read and interpret complex design drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with local utilities regulations (TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga) and international standards (NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE-242).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.

Nice to have

• Experience in project coordination and management for electrical projects.
