What you will do

• Perform failure analysis (FA) on wafer, package, and die-level semiconductor devices, including electrical verification and fault isolation.
• Conduct physical root cause analysis and prepare detailed FA reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design, test, product, and process engineering teams to resolve technical issues and understand failure mechanisms.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing new electrical fault isolation (EFA) techniques and enhancing FA methodologies.
• Operate and maintain advanced FA tools such as PEM/OBIRCH, LIT, FIB, ion milling, and SEM.
• Support investigations related to product reliability, manufacturing yield, and customer quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in semiconductor failure analysis involving discrete devices, power products, MOSFETs, logic, analog, or mixed-signal ICs.
• Hands-on expertise with FA/EFA tools (ATE, curve tracer, micro-probing, LEM, PEM/OBIRCH, CSAM, X-ray, FIB, SEM).
• Strong understanding of digital/analog circuit operation, semiconductor device physics, and IC fabrication processes.
• Ability to interpret system-level schematics, IC schematics, and CMOS or bipolar IC layouts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple technical investigations.
