TL;DR

Retirement Implementation Specialist (Fintech): Managing the end-to-end onboarding experience for 401(k) plans on the hirify.global platform with an accent on client-facing implementation, data reconciliation, and asset transfers. Focus on guiding plan sponsors through complex setups, maintaining operational rigor, and leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows.

Location: Must be based in the United States. Hybrid roles require 2-3 days per week in the office for employees based in San Francisco, Denver, or New York.

What you will do

  • Manage a dedicated book of business for new and conversion 401(k) plans from signing through activation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for plan sponsors and administrators via email, phone, and video.
  • Guide employers through task dashboards and proactively follow up to ensure timely plan activation.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure accurate data submission, asset transfers, and recordkeeping transitions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Legal to resolve setup and compliance issues.
  • Utilize AI tools to improve communication efficiency and streamline implementation workflows.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of total work experience with 3+ years in client-facing implementation, account management, or retirement plan administration.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Deep knowledge in SaaS, Operations, or Finance, with 401(k) or ERISA experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail regarding data accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and experience managing complex, multi-step processes.
  • Excellent communication skills across email, phone, and video.

Nice to have

  • Startup or financial services experience.
  • RPS or CRPS designation.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems or Safe Harbor compliance.
