TL;DR
Lead, IT Risk (Web3): Establishing and managing IT risk frameworks and controls within a global crypto platform with an accent on regulatory compliance and cross-functional stakeholder management. Focus on bridging the gap between IT, security, and business operations to ensure resilience and effective risk mitigation.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York City, NY (Hybrid: 2 days/week in-office)
Salary: $99,400 - $142,000

What you will do
- Execute the IT Risk Management Framework, including risk identification, analysis, and reporting.
- Conduct annual IT risk assessments, RCSAs, and targeted reviews for new initiatives.
- Partner with Internal Audit and Security teams to assess the effectiveness of IT and cyber controls.
- Serve as a liaison between IT Risk and functional areas to facilitate risk awareness and control adoption.
- Maintain the Business Continuity Management (BCM) program and drive crisis response efforts.
- Develop periodic risk dashboards and key risk indicators (KRIs) for senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or advanced degree in Information Security, Risk Management, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT internal audit or IT risk management in highly regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, operational risk, and third-party/vendor risk.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as NYDFS, SOC2, and PCI DSS.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Must be able to work in-person at the New York City office twice a week.
Nice to have
- Previous experience working at a digital asset institution.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA.
- Experience with GRC tools like AuditBoard or Archer.
- Strong executive presence and ability to drive enterprise-wide alignment.
