What you will do

• Design and build backend services and APIs for patient booking, clinician routing, logistics, and device integrations
• Ship full-stack features end to end (data modeling, business logic, UI, and user flows) if working full-stack
• Solve complex operational problems such as scheduling, dispatch, safety checks, and error prevention at scale
• Integrate with external health systems, telemedicine platforms, and medical devices reliably and securely
• Collaborate with product, data, ops, and clinical teams to turn real-world needs into shipped software
• Own projects from 0→1, make architectural decisions, and evolve engineering practices as the company scales

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling backend or full-stack systems in production
• Experience designing APIs, data models, and services powering user-facing products
• Ability to lead projects end to end (architecture, planning, delivery, and iteration)
• Experience mentoring engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
• Comfort working in startups/high-growth environments with speed, reliability, and ambiguity
• Experience with regulated environments and security/privacy best practices (HIPAA)
