Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually

What you will do
- Own the safety, quality, delivery, and productivity of the battery and electrical systems manufacturing area.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of production technicians responsible for high-voltage systems and electromechanical subassemblies.
- Execute daily production plans by managing labor, materials, and engineering support.
- Partner with hardware and manufacturing engineering to resolve technical issues and enable production at scale.
- Drive structured root cause analysis to improve first-pass yield and long-term reliability.
- Continuously improve assembly processes, workstation layouts, and standard work to enhance throughput.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
- Prior experience in leading a team or a project.
- Ability to work on-site in Torrance, CA.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for the majority of the shift.
- Willingness to get hands-on with build projects as needed.
- Flexibility and creativity to keep complex projects moving forward.
Nice to have
- 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with engineering and supply chain teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead structured problem solving using data.
- Comfortable interpreting engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy.
