What you will do

• Own the safety, quality, delivery, and productivity of the battery and electrical systems manufacturing area.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of production technicians responsible for high-voltage systems and electromechanical subassemblies.
• Execute daily production plans by managing labor, materials, and engineering support.
• Partner with hardware and manufacturing engineering to resolve technical issues and enable production at scale.
• Drive structured root cause analysis to improve first-pass yield and long-term reliability.
• Continuously improve assembly processes, workstation layouts, and standard work to enhance throughput.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• Prior experience in leading a team or a project.
• Ability to work on-site in Torrance, CA.
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for the majority of the shift.
• Willingness to get hands-on with build projects as needed.
• Flexibility and creativity to keep complex projects moving forward.

Nice to have

• 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with engineering and supply chain teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead structured problem solving using data.
• Comfortable interpreting engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy.
