What you will do

• Apply strategy, policy, operational process, and technology knowledge to identify opportunities and support complex digital transformation programme delivery.
• Develop future-facing transformation strategies and plans, including the business case and identification of user and business benefits.
• Advise on scope, approach, objectives, timelines, and resourcing for digital delivery initiatives, including organisational change implications and dependencies.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor to support long-term objectives.
• Contribute to the Advisory function by sharing knowledge and collaborating across the account.
• Support internal go-to-market strategy for Tax & Customs, including developing offerings and thought leadership.

Requirements

• Significant experience in consulting, business development, account leadership, or digital transformation roles within Tax, Customs, Borders, Trade, or related government sectors.
• Understanding of government delivery frameworks, including GDS standards and service transformation principles.
• Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level client relationships and earn trusted-advisor status with senior stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen to identify, shape, and win complex consulting, transformation, or technology opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across business, operational, and technical audiences.
• Understanding of emerging technologies and digital transformation trends and how to apply them in large public-sector organisations.
