What you will do

• Manage AI governance by integrating AI-specific gates and artifact requirements into the SDLC.
• Maintain the AI-extended SDLC (AISDLC) and keep a current inventory of all AI systems.
• Evaluate AI Registry and Impact Assessment submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor and maintain the health of Jira and Confluence environments, resolving platform-level issues.
• Interpret regulatory documentation (CMMI, NIST, FSA) to identify and close gaps in policies and procedures.
• Perform value stream mapping for NDS IT processes to eliminate waste and streamline workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years in process, compliance, governance, or audit with meaningful exposure to AI or emerging technology.
• United States citizenship is strictly required for government security clearance.
• Demonstrable fluency in the current AI landscape and conceptual understanding of agentic AI systems.
• Ability to evaluate AI system descriptions and identify missing or inaccurate information.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Atlassian platform health monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks like NIST AI RMF or ISO 42001.
• CMMI process area knowledge and experience in heavily regulated industries (e.g., financial services).
• Relevant certifications such as AIGP, CIPP, CISA, or CRCM.
• Change management certification (Prosci, CCMP).
