What you will do

• Build and implement the global data governance strategy, operating model, policies, and KPIs across all regions.
• Establish enterprise practices for data management, data modeling, and master data management (MDM), including canonical models and golden records.
• Operate a data certification program to define trustworthiness and measure data quality against agreed thresholds.
• Design and lead change management initiatives to embed governance into day-to-day workflows and behavioral patterns.
• Build and evolve the global Data Governance function, including the management of the data steward program.
• Partner with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Legal, Risk, Security) to align data strategy with business outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant experience leading data governance at scale within a global organization.
• Strong technical foundation in data modeling, MDM, data certification, and data compliance.
• Demonstrated success building stewardship and compliance programs with measurable outcomes.
• Proven change management capability to influence senior stakeholders in complex organizations.
• Must be based in the USA (Creve Coeur, Missouri)

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple regulatory regimes (e.g., GDPR) and global data residency requirements.
• Familiarity with modern data governance catalog tooling, MDM platforms, and data quality solutions.
• Experience contributing to enterprise data strategy as part of a senior data leadership team.
