Salary: $87,500–$105,000

What you will do

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely completion of monthly financial reporting.
• Perform technical accounting analysis under IFRS framework.
• Manage, coach, and mentor a team of finance professionals, including CPAs and CPA candidates.
• Review multiple-element software contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition under IFRS 15 guidelines.
• Coordinate audit requests and respond to queries during quarterly and year-end audits.
• Assist the M&A team with finance due diligence and oversee the financial integration of new acquisitions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in an accounting or finance environment.
• CPA (or equivalent) designation.
• Experience building and managing relationships with direct reports and internal stakeholders.
• Must be based in Ontario, Canada.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IFRS reporting framework.
• Progressive experience working at an accounting firm or software company.
• Project accounting experience.
