What you will do

• Mentor, develop, and manage a team of junior and intermediate accountants.
• Oversee general ledger operations and the month-end close process for parent and international subsidiaries.
• Manage detailed financial reporting, including note disclosures and maintenance of the Accounting Standards Update (ASU) matrix.
• Lead statutory audits for international subsidiaries and support the annual consolidated external audit.
• Conduct technical accounting research to develop and document the company's accounting policies.
• Design end-to-end standard operating procedures and implement automation software to drive efficiency.

Requirements

• CPA designation is required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting and high-growth tech industry experience.
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS is required.
• Proven experience managing month-end close for multi-entity, multi-currency global organizations.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership and mentoring accounting teams.
• Must be based in Vancouver for hybrid office attendance.

• Experience with NetSuite ERP.
