TL;DR

IT Support Analyst: Providing first-level technical support for software, hardware, and network systems in a call center environment with an accent on Point of Sale (POS) system maintenance and troubleshooting. Focus on diagnosing technical issues, guiding users through solutions, and escalating complex problems to ensure continuous store operations.

Location: Onsite in Springfield, Missouri. Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship available.

Salary: $18–$22/hr (W2).

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support via phone.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to POS systems, servers, and network devices.
  • Guide store staff and corporate users through step-by-step technical solutions.
  • Perform first-level diagnostics for LAN, WAN, and telephony issues.
  • Escalate advanced technical problems to higher-level support teams.
  • Assist with technology project implementations and overflow support tasks.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Springfield, MO.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US; no visa sponsorship or C2C arrangements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for phone-based support.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early shifts and weekends.
  • Basic technical knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
  • Customer service focus with critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.

Nice to have

  • Bilingual verbal and written communication skills.
  • CompTIA Linux+ or equivalent certification.
  • Cisco CCENT or higher certification.
  • Associate degree or at least 1 year of help desk experience.
