What you will do

• Define, analyze, and verify system and subsystem requirements using MBSE and digital engineering methods.
• Lead requirement assessments, trade studies, and performance analysis to shape overall system design.
• Translate mission needs and CONOPS into actionable system requirements and technical solutions.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies across the product life-cycle.
• Lead small teams and mentor less experienced engineers to align with program goals.
• Collaborate on test strategy development, test design, and requirements management.

Requirements

• Must be able to consistently support on-site in Cambridge, MA.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government Top Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics (Master's preferred).
• 5-10 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on requirements engineering.
• Proficiency with MBSE/digital engineering tools and methods.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a system-level perspective.

Nice to have

• Experience with SysML, STPA, or DOORS.
• Knowledge of GN&C, avionics architectures, fault tolerance, or cybersecurity.
• Experience with computer coding languages and simulation tools.
