Focus on building shared IP, managing concurrent projects and design capacity, developing engineering talent, and solving complex reliability and silicon-validation challenges.

What you will do
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of analog/mixed-signal design, digital design, verification, and layout engineers across concurrent NPI projects.
- Own product architecture, transistor-level design, simulation, verification, layout, tape-out, silicon validation, characterization, and release-for-supply execution.
- Drive first-pass silicon success through design reviews, reliability sign-off, and readiness across MRA gates.
- Partner with Systems Engineering and Product Management on product definition, feasibility, cost, performance, schedule, and die-size trade-offs.
- Build reusable power-path IP for eFuse, Load Switch, and Ideal Diode product families.
- Plan design capacity, recruit and develop engineers, support customer engagements, and collaborate with global design and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; an MSEE or PhD is preferred.
- 10+ years of hands-on analog/mixed-signal power IC design experience, including transistor-level design, layout oversight, and silicon validation in BCD, BiCMOS, or CMOS technologies.
- Experience leading teams of 10+ engineers across design, verification, and layout, with products released into volume production.
- Direct experience with eFuses, load switches, ideal diode controllers, hot-swap controllers, surge stoppers, or adjacent power-management ICs.
- Strong knowledge of integrated power FETs, charge pumps, current sensing and limiting, protection circuits, references, comparators, and low-IQ design.
- Mastery of Cadence, SPICE-class simulation, LVS/DRC, and reliability sign-off, plus strong people leadership and customer communication skills.
